The Team

We are currently seeking a Drainage Engineer for the Contractor Delivery Practice. 

The Opportunity

The Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for leading drainage analysis, drainage design, plans production, bridge hydraulic analysis, river modeling, and environmental permitting.  Designs will be for large heavy highway projects primarily delivered using alternative delivery procurement. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of work experience in drainage analysis and design
  • PE required
  • Crossover experience with roadway and traffic control plan design, utility coordination, and environmental permitting preferred
  • Experience working on projects with NCDOT or FDOT preferred
  • Design Build experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microstation and Geopak preferred
  • Knowledge of HY8, Geopak Drainage, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and/or other relevant hydrology and hydraulic software preferred
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS software preferred
