The Team

Our Information Technology team engages with leaders and associates across the firm to advance technology solutions and achieve business objectives. We apply our expertise to promote and support design, project management, and business solutions; build and operate our on-premises and cloud infrastructures; measure and limit our cyber risk; and respond to the technology needs of our associates.

The Opportunity

 

This individual will be an integral part of our Project Technology team. This team focuses on the information technology needs of RS&H architects, engineers, planners, and project managers in their delivery of services to our clients. They support the design, project, and data management toolsets; and provide leadership in the identification of new IT tools, training, standards and processes that improve RS&H operations and value for our clients. This position will focus support on processes and tools used by our architects and our structural and MEP engineering teams, especially, but not limited to, the Autodesk AEC Collection of tools.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or participate in the development of business workflows, best practices, and standards for the assigned toolsets
  • Digital content management and template development
  • Develop strategies for Autodesk software licensing and distribution
  • Work with associates to identify and develop new toolsets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tier 2 technical support challenges
  • Identify requirements and coordinate response for technical training
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent related experience required
  • 10 years of experience working with CAD/BIM in the AEC industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk tools with the ability to solve complex issues
  • Experience supporting and promoting Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, SketchUp Pro, and similar design tools preferred
  • Experience with Newforma or other project management tools preferred
  • Experience with SCCM and PowerShell or similar software distribution tools preferred
  • Experience with computer programming and/or scripting experience preferred
  • Comfortable and adept presenting in-house and/or at industry conferences
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees throughout the firm
