The Opportunity

Our growing CMS team is in need of a talented and experienced writer to craft and edit creative content for our digital platforms, media/trade journals, and print publications, as well as internal campaigns. The main goal is to create awareness and support the overall marketing, business development, and sales initiatives of the firm. The ideal candidate will be an expert wordsmith and storyteller that can showcase our company’s value and services in a compelling way.



  • Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, creative writing, journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of writing experience within the field of marketing communications (A/E/C preferred).
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills.
  • Possesses advanced oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AP Style.
  • Experience working with content management systems, such as WordPress.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in Adobe PhotoShop a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation a plus.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Create content for campaigns that align with marketing objectives and company goals.
  • Produce, edit, and customize content for all platforms, including our website, blog, social media, etc.
  • Assist with developing new value prop messaging
  • Create A/B tests for copy to test and learn
  • Support internal communications lead in development of schedules, content, and project plans for ongoing resource group campaigns.
  • Support public relations lead in writing and pitching articles to third-party publications.
  • Perform online and on-the-ground primary research for blog posts, articles, and other content.
  • Work with the marketing team to analyze content performance metrics, such as click-through rates, social following, total time on page, and apply those insights to improve existing content and develop better content ideas for the future.
  • Interact with the multiple levels both inside and outside the firm.
  • Proofread and edit content.
  • Ensure our brand voice and standards are consistent throughout all communications.
  • Follow through on tasks in a consistent and persistent manner.
  • Interact with multiple levels both inside and outside the firm.
  • Perform other marketing duties as assigned.
  • Understand A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods.
