  • The Opportunity

     

    We are currently seeking a Science Facility Architect/Project Manager.

     

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your own career by contributing to the advancement of RS&H's Science Facility Expertise. Our successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects and collaborative teams of architects, planners, designers, engineers and consultants for both public and private R&D laboratory and BioPharma manufacturing clientele. Our projects include programming, planning, design and construction administrative services. While you align projects with clientele expectations, industry regulatory requirements and RS&H’s standards of excellence you will also advance our best practices, mentor young associates and develop long term working relationships with clientele throughout our national footprint. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented, passionate, expertise minded people and share an open work environment with stimulating science clientele. If you have a history of successful projects within the R&D and BioPharma Science market, then your skills are in alignment with our position.

     

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Serve as a Senior Project Manager and Project Architect while leading a multi-discipline project team of architects, planners, consultants, interior designers, and building engineers for successful project delivery.
    • Help lead, develop and mentor junior associates with science facility expertise.
    • Engage with clients and strengthen our presence within the industry as a service provider that focuses on process-driven, lean and creative solutions to complex science facility challenges.
    • Utilize current BIM and VR technologies to advance production, data management and visualization to align with advanced science clientele perspectives and priorities.
    • Utilize speaking and writing opportunities to help position the firm as a thought leader while maintaining involvement in key organizations.
    • Work closely with Office Leadership and other Project Managers with respect to budget and workload projections.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Architecture degree from an accredited university
    • Minimum 5+ years of design experience with science facility focus
    • NCARB and Professional registration in the field of Architecture
    • Strong marketing, sales, production and team building skills
    • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
    • Proficiency with AutoDesk Revit, MS Project, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu
    • Passion to advance science expertise, reputation and capabilities of both RS&H and yourself.
