  • The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Support Specialist for our Transportation-Construction Management practice. 


    The Contract Support Specialist must be familiar with the Department’s Procedures and governing documents covering project related duties.  The candidate will demonstrate an ability to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project such as:

    • Prepare and process progress and final estimates
    • Process Contract Change Orders and Supplemental Agreements
    • Interpret contract documents
    • Ensure engineering calculations conform with contract requirements
    • Interpret work details from the field and make technical decisions related to office operations
    • Monitor EEO compliance, etc.


    Candidate must exhibit excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as advanced proficiency in the use of computer software such as Word, Excel, ProjectSolve, SiteManager, and MAC, to help monitor and track contract quantities, materials, and conformance with the contract.  Additionally, shall become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu.



    • Associate’s degree 
    • 15+ years’ experience in processing progress and final estimates, MAC, ProjectSolve, processing contract changes, EEO compliance, etc.
    • At least 4 years of FDOT experience



    • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
