  • The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer for our Transportation-Infrastructure Practice in our Miami, FL office.   


    The Entry Level Traffic Engineer will be involved in assisting clients with providing viable solutions to mobility, traffic congestion and safety while addressing FDOT and FHWA processes and guidelines.  The position would be involved in traffic engineering evaluations and analysis, including traffic operations analysis, capacity analysis, Interchange access analysis and operations of managed lanes. Other responsibilities would include crash/safety studies, production of documentation and reports, and providing general support to the Traffic Engineering Team.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment.  He or she will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have strong work ethic with the company’s mission and core values.



    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
    • 0-2 years of experience within the field of traffic engineering, with a preference for previous internship experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office software
    • Experience with traffic analysis software, such as HCS and Synchro
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • EI Certification preferred
    • Experience with GIS is preferred
    • Experience with traffic simulation models such as CORSIM and VISSIM is a plus
