  • The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking a Transportation Planner/Engineer for the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice. 


    The Transportation Planner/Engineer will be able to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment and have excellent communication, strong data and analytical, and documentation skills. He or she will participate in the collection and analysis of data; technical analysis of transportation planning projects of varying size and scope, development of recommendations, and report and presentation development.  The person will work closely with other disciplines on multi-modal projects integrating both planning and engineering expertise with an emphasis on data and technology.  



    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Urban and Regional Planning from an accredited university required; Master’s Degree preferred
    • EIT and/or AICP Certification preferred
    • 2-4 years’ experience performing transportation planning/engineering activities
    • Proficiency with ArcGIS, travel demand and micro-simulation models
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
    • Strong writing and presentation skills
    • Business acumen and facilitation skills working with a broad set of clients, stakeholders and members of the public 
    • Strong teamwork and project organization skills working on projects and with staff across numerous states
