  • The Opportunity

    This position candidate will work in our Transportation Infrastructure  group on exciting transportation related roadway projects including: highway, interchange, urban and rural arterial roadway and transit projects.  Job duties include project management, team leadership, subconsultant coordination, roadway layout, construction phasing, estimating quantities, utility coordination, and specification writing for transportation projects.



    • Bachelor's of Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university
    • 12+ years of work experience within the field of transportation engineering
    • Must have professional registration (PE)
    • Experience as a designer on Roadway and Highway projects required
    • Previous Project Management experience
    • Knowledge of Roadway Design elements
    • Experience using AASHTO's - "A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets" and "Roadside Design Guide"
    • Experience as a leader of the profession of engineering within the community
    • Experience using MicroStation and InRoads
    • Excellent verbal communication skills and marketing experience
    • Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's of Civil Engineering from an accredited university
    • Working knowledge of local Colorado design practices including CDOT, local Cities and Counties standards 
    • Experience with traffic engineering and drainage design
