  • The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice in Atlanta, Georgia. 


    The Senior Water Resources Engineer position involves analysis and design of roadway drainage collection and conveyance systems; MS4 post-construction stormwater BMPs; hydraulic studies; and erosion, sedimentation & pollution control plans, in accordance with GDOT, GDNR-EPD, and local standards, criteria, and accepted practices. Additional responsibilities include leading and performing work-share assignments with our offices in the Carolinas and Florida; supporting company marketing initiatives, and mentoring our Atlanta office junior water resources staff.  



    • Active, good-standing Professional Engineering license
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
    • 4-12 years of water resources/transportation engineering experience
    • Experience working on GDOT and linear transportation projects 
    • Working knowledge of Haestad drainage software, including FlowMaster, PondPack, StormCAD, and CulvertMaster
    • Working knowledge of CAD software, including Microstation, InRoads, and ProjectWise
    • Working knowledge of hydraulic software, including HEC-RAS and HY-8
    • Technical writing and communication skills 
    • Experience using Microsoft Office software
    • Knowledge of OpenRoads, SUDA, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D software is a plus
