  • The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking a Roadway Engineer for our Transportation-Infrastructure Practice. 

    The Roadway Engineer will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of roadway design fundamentals.  This position will function as Roadway Design Lead on conventional and design-build projects as well as a Project Manager on multidiscipline projects. The individual will work on projects with the responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to roadway design as well as instruct and train entry level engineers in roadway design.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
    • 8 years’ experience performing and managing roadway design
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience utilizing MicroStation and GeoPak

     Preferred Qualifications:

    • North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) experience 
    • Corridor Modeling experience 
    • Open Roads experience
