We are seeking a Highway Engineer III - Highway to support projects for the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice based out of our Charlotte, NC office.
This position is responsible for marketing and managing roadway design and transportation projects of varying size for NCDOT and other clients, including local municipalities, as well as assisting discipline and area leaders in continuing to build the transportation engineering practice in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will have experience performing diverse and complex work tasks in areas of engineering, mentoring, and management. Additional responsibilities include client communication/management; managing subconsultants; mentoring roadway/highway staff; coordinating with discipline key task leaders and staff to ensure ongoing communications; performing quality control on deliverables; monitoring and meeting project deliverable schedules and budgets for assigned projects; and supporting marketing and business development initiatives.
