The Opportunity

RS&H is seeking an Airfield Electrical Engineer III to join our Aviation Practice in Jacksonville, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas or Los Angeles!

You will have an opportunity to advance your career and professional development as the Project Manager, Project Engineer, or engineering support on airport projects. You will have the opportunity to lead, develop and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity, initiate and maintain client contact and assist the team in winning the work.

 

Summary:

 

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of aviation design professionals to develop engineering solutions for airfield projects. As part of the team, you will lead the preparation of design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems. You will coordinate and work closely with other engineers to develop specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Registered PE license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Some travel may be required
