We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Associate I to join our Buildings group in Dallas, TX

Job Summary:

This position performs basic engineering assignments requiring the application of standard engineering principles and concepts. This position helps perform design tasks and coordinates design and construction activities, studies, and various analyses.

Essential Functions:

• Performs routine assignments including compiling data and assisting with permit and report preparation, and material testing
• Completes elementary design calculations and prepares quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans utilizing advanced software and technology
• Performs basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology. Prepares drawings and visual aids
• Performs as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to gain increased understanding of construction practices and design applications
• Becomes knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances that are pertinent to respective discipline
• Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess basic knowledge of production software
• Must posess solid oral and written cummunications skills
• Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others
