RS&H is currently seeking an experienced structural bridge engineering associate to join our team.

This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm as an engineering discipline lead on conventional projects and potentially a project lead on projects of small to moderate size and complexity. This position will utilize production software and develop impact studies, cost analyses, and design requirements; analyze and interpret data; design complete projects, systems, components, and/or processes; prepare complete project documents, engineering analysis, and reports; perform field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects; and perform quality control reviews. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams. 

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program and seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Eligibility to sit for the PE is strongly preferred. 
• Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
• Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
• Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
