In the Senior Project Manager/Project Architect role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of RS&H's National footprint in the aviation industry and be a part of our voice in the market.  This position contributes technical excellence and leadership to a team that delivers a wide range of building projects that support expanded client relationships and growing our building’s portfolio. This position drives creativity and innovation through architectural design that enhances operational excellence, profitability, and operational efficiency.  The Senior Project Manager/Project Architect position focuses on providing subject matter expertise,  developing and improving client relationships,  participating in the mentorship and growth to junior architects, while ensuring quality deliverables to our aviation clients. If you have a history of long-term working relationships within the Aviation market, strong technical architectural acumen, a desire to impart your knowledge on evolving architects, and the drive to elevate design…then your skills are in alignment with our position.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provides technical excellence and leadership to a team of architectural professionals with a shared focus of ensuring client satisfaction and quality outcomes. Leads the development of a top-in class design and production team by developing and retaining existing associates and recruiting new talent and capabilities to the firm. Fosters a diverse knowledge of appropriate discipline principles and techniques
  • Plays a key role in the delivery of multiple, high-profile design projects that are critical to expanding client relationships and growing our portfolio. Drives operational excellence, including profitability, operational efficiency, resource management, and quality deliverables. Provides subject matter expertise throughout the project.
  • Participates in client relationship development activities while working closely with client managers and business development teams to help drive top line sales growth
  • Contributes to direct sales activities for the discipline, assisting in submitting qualifications, LOIs, and proposals, and participating in group presentations for winning new work. Encourages and supports new technologies, tools, and training, that will increase the output efficiency of proposals and presentations. Consults with strategy leaders to develop and implement pursuit strategies and techniques to improve sales performance, particularly for strategic pursuits. Consults with operational leadership to identify key hires to support strategic pursuits and market and geographic expansion. 
  • Collaborates effectively with leaders, teams, and associates across the firm to help drive success. Contributes to an environment that promotes teamwork. Coordinates and reviews resource level with other architectural leaders to ensure client needs are satisfied and associates are exposed to diverse and escalating project responsibilities
  • Ensures adherence to all client and regulatory requirements. Provides expertise on codes, quality assurance, and construction methods and materials
  • Completes all other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires professional registration/certification in discipline
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of architectural design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs. Must also have a solid knowledge of the relevant market sector. Must be capable of marketing services to existing and new clients, and adept at mentoring and encouraging a team to maximize their abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, from an accredited program

The salary for this position in Colorado ranges from $_112,000.00__ to $_185,000.00__ annually.  However, the selected individual’s compensation will be determined based on their specific education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
