RS&H seeks an Aviation Discipline Leader to join our Aviation Practice in Houston, TX!
This vital role will provide leadership and direction for the Houston aviation team, reporting directly to our Texas State Leader. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity, manage the client relationship, grow your team, and assist the team in winning work.
As the Aviation Discipline Leader, you will be given the reigns to oversee all aspects of the successful delivery of projects, including contract management, managing production teams, quality assurances, and financial performance. Projects range from airside to landside, from small to large, and everything in between. Opportunities include the design of runways, taxiways, and aprons, bituminous and concrete pavement, stormwater and utility infrastructure; coordination with airports, airlines, FAA, and other tenants; construction administration/management; grant management; coordination and interaction with other RS&H and team member disciplines (Planning, Buildings, Environmental); and active industry involvement.
Your knowledge and skills will influence programs and projects from concept stage through design and construction. As a full-service A&E firm, there is nothing at an airport that RS&H cannot complete. Moreover, our approach to workload management encourages support across all regions to approach complex problems as a unified team.

The successful candidate can anticipate quickly becoming an Owner in the firm, participating in bonus programs, coordinating with national resources, recruiting and mentoring, and working directly with RS&H’s senior leadership to deploy strategic aviation initiatives.
