We are seeking an Aviation Buildings Field Representative for our Construction Management - Aviation Team Nationally.

The Associate may base at any of the RS&H offices, but it is expected there will be extended travel and out of town/onsite stays to support Building projects.

This position performs increasingly complex tests, observes, and records technical work that is typically complex in nature. Duties include field observation of construction, oversight of material testing, and attending/conducting pre-installation meetings and progress meetings.  This position works independently, under general supervision, exercising advanced judgment in the application of standard methodologies and procedures for complex projects, Including innovative and reasonable deviations for more complex and unique issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently, under general supervision, exercising advanced judgment in the application of standard methodologies and procedures for complex projects, including innovative and reasonable deviations for more complex and unique issues
• Perform complex tests, observes, and records technical work for complex projects
• Monitor the accuracy of dimensions and observes in-progress construction to ensure that workmanship and materials used reasonably comply to specifications
• Record quantities of materials received or used during specific periods
• Maintain daily reports of construction and inspection activities and compares progress reports
• Compute monthly estimates of work completed.
• Document construction installations that deviate from plans and reports changes for review by senior personnel
• Analyze and review inspection findings to determine sources of problems, as well as recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective actions
• Perform all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 7 years relevant experience or a NICET Level III certification
• Must possess solid organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and communications skills
• Must have the ability to interact with and build relationships with others effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience guiding and/or leading junior staff

Hiring Salary Range: ($61,100 - $100,100) — for this location. The final agreed upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and/or primary work location.
