RS&H is currently seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL.

As part of this team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by developing cost estimates based on total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, labor, and risk for construction projects of large size and high complexity; preparing conceptual estimates, change order estimates, and other estimates for large, complex projects; developing, preparing, and issuing cost report templates, and budget/cost and change management reports; producing regular budget/cost reports, including status, forecast at completion, and variance versus baseline budget; and identifying project constraints and/or needed upgrades, communicating them to the project manager, and collaborating with the team to identify potential solutions and impacts; assisting in the development of project plans; and providing quality assurance and technical guidance, and assigning tasks to junior and support staff or project duration.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or cost management and 10 years relevant experience in construction estimation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have a passion for construction management and prior experience as a cost estimator in a related construction field.
• Be proficient with estimating software products (e.g., HCSS Heavy Bid) and possess advanced computer skills.
• Be able to lead large segments of estimates.
• Possess advanced organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, math, and communications skills.
• Have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with others.
