The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a GIS Consultant to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires an accredited bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Geographic Information Systems, or related geospatial discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical GIS experience, preferably within the consulting field.
  • Actively learns through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities.
  • Proficient in use of ArcGIS Desktop and Pro and ArcGIS extensions (3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, etc.) ArcGIS Online and/or Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Strong cartographic skills.
  • Must have a thorough technical understanding of key technologies (GIS, CAD, Database).
  • Experience using GIS with the ESRI ArcGIS Online environment to include configuration of ArcGIS Experience Builder, WebAppBuilder, ArcGIS Hub, StoryMaps, Survey123, and configurable applications.
  • Experience with Esri mobile applications: ArcGIS Collector, Survey123, Field apps, etc.
  • Experience using GIS in the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Server/Portal) environment.
  • Capable of utilizing Modelbuilder and Python to script GIS desktop and server processes.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and responsive to deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Geographic Information System (GIS) Certification Institute or Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certification strongly preferred.
  • Technical GIS Software Certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience administering a multiuser geodatabase with replica management.
  • Drone experience and/or Remote Pilot rating for sUAS commercial operations is preferred but not required
