The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our Construction Management (CM) Practice in the Consulting Services group. This person will be able to work remotely and/or with the option to work from one of our RS&H offices.

 

 

The Opportunity: As a senior marketing coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting the Company’s brand and vision through storytelling, proposal themes and messaging, compelling visuals, and marketing materials. This role includes significant customer focus that supports marketing and business development activities. You will lead collaboration and coordination with internal project teams, area and regional leaders, subject matter experts, graphic designers, and external industry partners/organizations requiring excellent organizational skills to execute all assignments.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Pursuit Coordination
    • Proactively lead proposals from capture planning through submittal and closeout.
    • Develop proposals, presentations, graphics, marketing material, web media, etc.
    • Work with graphic designers to create persuasive visuals.
    • Facilitate meetings and collaborate with team members to outline proposal components and develop differentiators, win themes, compelling text, and graphic concepts.
    • Write non-technical content and edit proposals for spelling, grammar, messaging, strategy, and persuasiveness.
    • Facilitate interview preparation, coach presentation teams and other shortlisting activities.
    • Ensure proposal quality meets RS&H standards & adhere to RS&H style guide and brand standards.
    • Evaluate technical content to make sure it satisfies RFP requirements and company brand standards.
    • Verify compliance with RFQ/RFP requirements

 

  1. Maintain and Develop Marketing Databases and Collateral
    • Collect project data on active projects and facilitate marketing closeout.
    • Create and maintain resumes, company information, project descriptions, and photography for proposals, SOQs, pre-certifications, or other materials.
    • Conduct basic research on market trends, competitor materials, media contacts, etc.
    • Align marketing efforts with capture strategies and division priorities.

 

  1. Partner with Service Group, BD, & Marketing Leaders
    • Lead BD calls for each service group within Consulting Services.
    • Attend regular operations and financial calls to keep a pulse on the state of strategic pursuits, financials, strategic recruiting needs, etc.
    • Assist with the collection of business plan information such as top pursuits, events, utilization plans, associates to develop, etc.
    • Keep team up to date on above responsibilities and areas where additional resources are needed to help move initiatives forward.
    • Coordinate additional state/division needs such as initiative updates, comms needs, business planning, etc.

 

  1. Coordinate with Leaders & Resource Groups
    • Coordinate with leaders outside of the business unit as needed. May include Infrastructure, Buildings, Legal, Information Systems, Communications, and Strategy.
    • Oversee prequalification processes and coordinate with Legal as needed.
    • Work with Legal for the review of RFPs/contracts as necessary.
    • Collaborate on pursuits with the Infrastructure and Buildings business units as needed.

 

  1. Partner with Consulting Services leadership to manage client base and monitor industry trends
    • Identify sponsorship opportunities for seminars, industry forums, and activities; collaborate with leadership on participation.
    • Partner with Service Group Leaders to grow existing and new clients and services.
    • Conduct research for upcoming work and monitor known funding streams.
    • Assist in setting up client meetings/cultivating relationships and providing knowledge for talking points/touches during conferences etc.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant professional services marketing/proposal experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills are required.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to drive proposal schedules.
  • Proficiency in basic marketing, communication, and graphics design processes.
  • A self-starter that can work both independently, as well as collaborate in a team.
  • Expert user of Adobe InDesign
  • An expert at prioritizing multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of creativity using graphics.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines, sometimes unscheduled overtime.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for events & meetings such as interview preparation, presentations, conferences, client meetings, site visits, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook)
  • Flexibility to work in eastern, central, mountain, and pacific time zones

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating DOT professional services proposals and/or Precertification
  • Knowledge of CEI/CM industry capabilities
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Deltek Vision/Salesforce

Hiring Salary Range: ($72,240 - $112,015) — for this location. The final agreed upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and/or primary work location.
