The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Video Production Specialist to join our Video Production Team in Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tallahassee, FL!

 

 

This person will work directly with our senior producers, designers, videographers/editors, 3-D animators, and copywriters.  Candidates should be well-versed in video production including camera setup, indoor and outdoor lighting, and audio recording.  In addition, candidates should have editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.

 

In this position, you will be part of video team directly supporting our clients on a wide variety of video productions around Florida.  Your role will include:

  • Preparing and packing equipment for remote shoots
  • Setting up cameras, lights, and mics for video productions
  • Growing and maintaining our video library
  • Advancing your skills as a videographer/photographer
  • Developing your skills into a seasoned editor and motion graphics artist

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Portfolio with editing examples of on-camera soundbites and b-roll footage that demonstrate a strong knowledge of video production and post-production best practices
  • Passion for all aspects of video production and post-production
  • Ability to work on simultaneous tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Skilled in videography especially using DSLR and Mirrorless cameras
  • Skilled in field lighting and audio recordings using wireless Lavaliere and shotgun microphones
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud especially Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • BS/BA in video production, communications, or related degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Must be able to direct and working with inexperienced talent in a professional and courteous manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Will travel frequently for 3-5 days at a time
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Canon and Sony mirrorless cameras
  • Experience with Davinci Resolve
  • Podcasting and or video web series recording
  • Commercial UAS license (14 CFR part 107)
  • Experience scouting locations, writing scripts, and transcribing interviews
