The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team.

 

 

This position is focused on supporting Client Managers and Senior Leaders in the West Region of the Infrastructure Business Unit by coordinating transportation and aviation client management and analytics efforts and providing structure and support to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of researching, tracking opportunity data, and positioning for new work. The candidate can report to any RS&H office, but travel to meetings in other offices may be required periodically.


This position requires working independently, including making decisions, providing good judgment, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving, and applying diverse knowledge and practices to a broad array of client types and sizes.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with Division Leaders and the Regional Leader to maintain a current list of client managers in the West Region.
  • Coordinate and attend internal client management meetings and set up, manage and update client notebooks, including implementation of a transition to OneNote for client management activities within the West Region.
  • Work with client managers to ensure client management and business development action items are completed between regular meetings.
  • Develops and maintains a variety of financial reporting and analysis for the region.
  • Enters, reviews, and maintains data integrity within Deltek for projects, opportunities, associates, clients, vendors, and other data essential to West Region operations.
  • Assists with development and delivery of training, mentoring, and learning tools for operational projects, project management, and technical applications.
  • Collaborates with other departments around reporting and processes to ensure efficiencies and secure needed data.
  • Must work 8:30-5:30 M-F Pacific Time Zone.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equiivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience with aviation and transportation client management activities.
  • Experience with Deltek or similar accounting software.
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, including OneNote.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with associates and clients
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and a self-starter
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with moderate supervision
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to understand multiple perspectives
