The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week.

 

This role is responsible for administering and optimizing SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams environments, with a focus on enhancing collaboration, document management, and business process efficiency across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy modern SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and pages tailored to business needs.
  • Implement governance policies, permission structures, and content lifecycle strategies.
  • Create and customize workflows, forms, and automation using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for SharePoint, M365, and Teams.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Work with IT security and compliance teams to enforce DLP, retention, and access policies.
  • Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates and assess the impact of new features.
  • Serve as Web Server Administrator: monitor performance and perform system tuning.
  • Serve as Database Administrator: manage SQL performance, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Support GIS development teams and act as an EDMS Coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration, including SharePoint Online.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Azure AD, Teams).
  • Strong knowledge of Teams lifecycle management and integrations.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
