The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking an experienced talent acquisition (TA) specialist to join our team! This role follows an in-office/hybrid model and requires being located within commuting distance of one of our major offices in Florida, with preference for candidates based in the Orlando area.

 

As part of the People team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by developing and executing recruiting and sourcing strategies for a wide variety of positions, including senior leadership openings; developing holistic talent strategies to meet employment demands today and preparing for the future; assessing candidates' qualifications, matching to the requirements of current and future openings, and providing recommendations to recruiting stakeholders; growing a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates through networking and making career connections; communicating hiring progress, results, and talent trends to TA and senior leadership, and making recommendations to improve recruiting strategies; driving efficiencies in hiring processes and procedures; and providing data to track and report on key recruiting metrics.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years full life cycle recruiting/staffing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR professional certification is preferred, as is industry experience.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to and perform work on-site at an RS&H office as needed.  Relocation not available for this role. 
  • Have direct experience in networking, qualifying, screening, managing relationships with hiring teams, and leading offer negotiations.
  • Have awareness of relevant employment legislation and market trends, as well as OFCCP requirements for recruiting.
  • Have proven ability to coach and partner with hiring managers on talent acquisition issues and to build credibility and confidence with candidates and leaders.
  • Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite and have experience working with applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload with shifting priorities.
  • Have the ability to take initiative, follow through, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Possess solid analytical, decision-making, researching and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Minimum 2 years Architecture/Engineering/Consulting experience strongly preferred.
