The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented AEC marketing professional to join our sales enablement team and support our award-winning architects, interior designers, and engineers. This position is a hybrid role and will be based out of our office in Jacksonville, FL, Orlando, FL, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, or Charlotte, NC. #LI-JG1

 

As a Marketing Specialist IV, you will operate at a senior level within the sales enablement team, entrusted with driving success for large, complex, and high-stakes projects. This role requires advanced critical thinking, creative storytelling, and technical precision to solve multifaceted challenges and deliver innovative solutions that directly influence pursuit outcomes and client relationships. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, consistently making informed decisions and managing multiple projects with intricate elements and competing priorities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with pursuit managers to help lead cross-functional teams—including business leaders, architects, interior designers, engineers, and business developers—in developing and executing sophisticated capture management plans and winning strategies for highly competitive pursuits.

 

Proposal and Presentation Leadership: Oversee and coordinate RFQ/RFP responses for multiple concurrent, large-scale projects, while integrating advanced strategies into deliverables. This includes facilitating productive meetings that invite diverse perspectives, drive strategic thinking, and achieve broad buy-in for unified plans.

 

Advanced Content Development and Quality Management: Help translate highly technical concepts into impactful, client-focused messaging that enhances pursuit strategies and strengthens competitive advantage. Independently verify compliance, synthesize complex information, and develop compelling content that communicates key messages to diverse audiences.

 

Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor and develop early career professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to accelerate their growth within the organization. Guide new pursuit managers through the sales and proposal process, sharing best practices, strategic insights, and hands-on support to help prepare them for managing complex pursuits.

 

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field and 10 years of progressive experience within marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry by independently collaborating with architects, interior designers, and engineers to deliver highly effective sales enablement support for complex, high-stakes projects. Apply advanced knowledge of AEC terminology and industry practices to strategically position the firm and drive competitive success.
  • Lead and facilitate productive meetings that connect diverse perspectives, foster critical and strategic thinking, and enable collaborative problem-solving. Guide pursuit teams in synthesizing complex ideas into unified, actionable plans that achieve broad buy-in and deliver successful outcomes for challenging assignments.
  • Exhibit strong self-direction and accountability, thriving in cross-disciplinary teams while consistently delivering high-quality work independently—without the need for micromanagement. Proactively communicate progress, risks, and resource needs, and actively seek, receive, and apply feedback from senior leaders to continuously improve performance.
  • Apply advanced strategic thinking, critical analysis, and creative problem-solving skills to support teams in developing and refining pursuit and proposal strategies for the most complex opportunities, positioning the team for exceptional success.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in fast-paced, dynamic environments, demonstrating mastery in setting clear priorities, organizing workloads, and adapting to shifting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and employ strong time management and organizational skills for timely delivery of all assignments, even under pressure.
  • Help maintain and update proposal content, client data, and pursuit records within CRM and other enterprise databases for accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for sales enablement and marketing initiatives.
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills and advanced interpersonal abilities, enabling clear, professional, and influential Build and maintain trusted relationships across diverse teams, demonstrate professional courage in addressing challenges constructively, and provide leadership that guides and inspires others toward shared goals.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite products, including Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, utilizing these tools to deliver sophisticated marketing materials and solutions for complex projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Certified professional services marketer (CPSM) and/or other industry-specific

Hiring Salary Range: $97,000 - $120,000 for this position in Denver, CO. The final agreed-upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and/or primary work location.
