Do you take pride in leading the development of high-quality, compelling, and compliant responses to RFQs and RFPs? Are you drawn to an environment where ideas come from all over, and people work together to co-create solutions, and secure impactful projects.

As a Senior Pursuit Specialist, you will play a key role on the sales enablement team, helping drive success on large, complex pursuits. This role calls for strategic thinking, strong storytelling, and technical precision to develop winning solutions and strengthen client relationships. You will work with a high degree of independence, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proposal and Presentation Leadership: Lead RFQ/RFP responses for multiple large-scale pursuits, integrating strategy into deliverables and facilitating alignment across teams.
  • Advanced Content Development and Quality Management: Turn technical concepts into clear, client-focused messaging, verify compliance, and develop compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor early career professionals and guide new pursuit managers through the sales and proposal process with coaching, best practices, and hands-on support.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and 10 years of progressive business development/marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the AEC industry and apply knowledge of its terminology and practices to support complex, high-stakes pursuits.
  • Lead productive meetings that bring together diverse perspectives, encourage strategic thinking, and turn complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrate strong self-direction and accountability while delivering high-quality work independently and communicating progress, risks, and resource needs clearly.
  • Apply advanced strategic thinking, critical analysis, and creative problem-solving to strengthen pursuit and proposal strategies for complex opportunities.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment by setting clear priorities, adapting to shifting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Maintain accurate, consistent, and accessible proposal content, client data, and pursuit records in CRM and other enterprise databases.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships, address challenges constructively, and guide others toward shared goals.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Acrobat, to produce sophisticated marketing materials for complex projects.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Have experience coordinating RFP and RFQ processes for public and private sector clients, with a focus on transportation, aviation, and aerospace.
  • Have knowledge of and experience with the SF 330 process.
  • Hold a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credential and/or other industry-specific certifications.
