  • Lead U.S. GAAP financial statement audits and Federal Acquisition Regulation overhead audits, and support state Department of Transportation indirect cost submissions.
  • Own accounting policies and the internal control framework, including control design, testing, documentation, reconciliation standards, and risk assessment.
  • Lead finance transformation, enterprise resource planning, process automation, and responsible artificial intelligence adoption across accounting workflows.
  • Partner across Finance, Tax, Legal, Enterprise Applications, Human Resources, Operations, and business leadership to resolve issues and improve financial processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals while establishing clear accountability, performance expectations, and succession plans.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 12 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with at least 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of progressive experience leading or supervising accounting professionals.
  • Demonstrated ownership of monthly close and financial reporting within corporate accounting, public accounting, technical accounting, consolidations, revenue accounting, accounting operations, or accounting policy.
  • Experience applying U.S. GAAP, maintaining internal controls, managing external audits, and preparing executive- and Board-level reporting.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives such as acquisition integration, system implementation, or process transformation.
  • Executive-level communication skills and the ability to translate complex accounting and system topics into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications
