We are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to be Roadway Manager for a large Highway Design Build Project in our Transportation-Infrastructure Practice.    This position would be responsible for coordinating design, and delivering plans of transportation projects for CDOT.  Responsibilities will be to market and develop relationships with other governmental agency clients as well as assisting RS&H to help build the transportation engineering practice in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Design/Build in addition to traditional work and works well with clients, engineers, and sub-consultants to ensure that their needs are met. The Office Leader will have a proven record of successful business development and marketing activities and be able to develop and implement a business and growth plan for the Houston Office, in coordination with RS&H Texas and Regional leaders. The Office Leader will have the ability to learn internal RS&H processes for project management, financial budgeting/billing, business and contract transactions, negotiations with clients and human resource activities.   Qualifications: - ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; - Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required; - Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the field of civil engineering/roadway/drainage/structures/traffic engineering studies; - Knowledge of and project management experience working directly with TxDOT, HCTRA or other local transportation providers;  - Experience working on complex transportation projects and administering contracts; - Strong supervisory skills leading multiple teams and people; and established client relationships/marketing and business development experience.
