We are currently seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer for the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.    The Senior Drainage Engineer will be responsible for project management; drainage analysis, design, and production; bridge hydraulic analysis as well as environmental permitting in accordance with FDOT, SFWMD, local municipality, and local drainage district standards, criteria, and accepted practices. We are currently seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer / Office Leader to join the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice in our Houston office.    The successful Office Leader must demonstrate the ability to perform diverse and complex work tasks requiring extensive engineering, communication, and management expertise. The successful candidate will also serve as a Project Manager taking a leadership role in project plan production and quality assurance/quality control procedures, while working with existing clients and identifying new clients to maintain a profitable operation and interactive working environment. More specifically, the Office Leader will serve as Project Manager for project pursuits that match the skillset of the Office Leader. The Office Leader will have a proven record of successful business development and marketing activities and be able to develop and implement a business and growth plan for the Houston Office, in coordination with RS&H Texas and Regional leaders. Duties will include leadership roles in guiding systems integration; performing and overseeing engineering calculations, analyses, component and system designs; and providing multi-discipline quality engineering reviews for development of design documents (drawings and specifications) to be issued for construction.  An understanding of launch vehicle and space vehicle systems requirements and senior level experience with launch vehicle GSE and ground systems requirements and development are necessary.
