Dates are able to be adjusted as necessary and will last approximately 12 weeks. This opportunity is for a CEI Inspector who will provide construction oversight on active roadway and bridge projects in the designated area. This position is intended to be a career-building opportunity as the successful candidate will be required to grow their CEI skills through a combination of hands-on and classroom training throughout the program. Successful candidates will also have opportunities for career growth in inspection, project management, client management, and business development.   RS&H offers specific training in project management and client management, as well as general career growth training and mentorship. We are focused on developing your existing skills and fostering a teamwork approach in delivering construction management and oversight on various heavy civil transportation projects.   What you will do throughout the training program:   Once accepted/approved, the training program will commence by introducing participants to the core values and culture of RS&H. The intern will provide key support on tasks related to project planning efforts, including data collection, data analysis, mapping, report writing, and public involvement.    Qualifications: - Current student studying Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related field at an ABET-accredited university - Proficiency with Microsoft Office software - Willingness to work with different teams to meet project deadlines - Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment - Strong work ethic aligning with the company’s mission and core values Preferred Qualifications:                  - 2.5 GPA or above - Coursework that includes Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, and/or Traffic Engineering - Previous internship experience - Exposure to ArcGIS           #LI-JW1   RS&H was named a 2022 Yello/Way-Up Top 100 Internship Program and five interns gained recognition as 2022 Yello/Way Up Top 100 Interns.
