RS&H is seeking a Senior Project Director to join our Innovative Program Advisory Service Group!     Job Summary: This position will support the Innovative Program Advisory team on various alternative delivery programs and projects across the country utilizing more progressive delivery methods such as design-build, progressive design-build, CMGC/CMAR, and P3 (DBF/DBFOM).  Typical client engagements include program management tasks ranging from the development of implementation manuals and program guidelines, template documents and forms, internal and external stakeholder education; and project management tasks which include drafting and development of RFI, RFQ and RFP documents, evaluation manuals, project management plans, and deliverables to assist clients in meeting FHWA major project requirements (PMP, CSRA, IFP, etc.).   The successful candidate will have experience performing diverse and complex work tasks associated with development, delivery and/or oversight of large infrastructure projects procured using a variety of alternative delivery methods.  The candidate will have an understanding and proficiency in drafting performance based technical requirements, ITPs and responses to bidder RFIs during procurements.  As a project manager, the candidate should have experience working within defined timelines and budgets to develop deliverables and be able to manage a team of technical discipline experts who will contribute to the development of various project and program documents.   Essential Functions:  - Support experienced nationally recognized experts in alternative delivery - Serve in a meaningful technical role on current alternative delivery engagements with various state DOT’s including Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, North Carolina, among others - Help grow a high performing Innovative Program Advisory group that believes in accountability, communication, ethics, team-work, and a performance-rewarding culture - Serve as a Project Manager for project pursuits that provide the best opportunity for selection by the client in such a role Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum 20 years of experience with alternative delivery including: - Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and/or CM/GC - P3 (DBF, DBFO/M) - Minimum 10 years of direct project management experience - Experience in task management on complex and large transportation projects - Experience working on alternative delivery projects as a consultant to or employee of a state department(s) of transportation - Ability to market and maintain positive and trusted relationships with clients, staff, and subconsultant partners - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail along with overall quality control and schedule management - Ability to track individual project tasks and financial management of individual and overall project tasks. RS&H is seeking an Infrastructure Division Lead to join our Transportation Practice in one of our Texas office locations! While Austin, TX is preferred, we will consider qualified candidates from DFW, Houston or San Antonio.     Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the sales of the division, including growth and sales for all market segments and service groups. This position has accountability for NSR less than $70 million and partners with regional leadership to administer established policies and guidelines. This position also serves as a project officer; utilization goals should be between 20 - 30%. This position typically reports to an SVP, Regional Leader and is responsible for establishing, implementing, and supporting strategies that have short to mid-term (1-3 years) impact on business results in alignment with functional objectives, including developing plans for optimizing the function or sub-function and the talent required to execute these strategies. This position primarily leads through leaders   Essential Functions:  - Supports regional leadership in achieving top-line growth goals, including identification of depressed revenue compared to peer firms within existing geographies; development and execution of business plans to elevate our top-line growth and align with top-tier peer firm levels; identification of potential growth locations; elimination/ mitigation of anti-sponsors and repairing damaged relationships. Balances investments from a sales perspective across the footprint of the division to maximize returns. - Manages critical pursuits within the 18-month horizon, mentors practice builders in forming client relationships and expanding the points of contacts between client and us, and aligns RS&H thought leaders with clients. - Collaborates with regional leadership to build and lead a high-performing team; key areas of focus include growth, talent acquisition, identifying and developing practice builders, performance management, engagement, and culture. Sets expectations across the division to ensure a culture of excellence and caring, industry leadership, innovative thinking, and integrity. Consults with leadership in the development of training, mentoring, and learning to foster growth opportunities for all associates. Sets clear expectations around the value and importance of meaningful feedback, talent management, and recognition for the division, and leads by example. - Partners with regional leadership in the management of key client relationships for loyalty, long-term engagement, and lifetime retention, including identification and cultivation of new client relationship opportunities; associate development to support client relationship building; and growth of existing and new services. - Partners with key stakeholders across the firm to understand client satisfaction feedback and develop strategies and action plans where needed, to exceed client expectations. - Participates with operations and regional leaders to aid in achieving financial metrics, including participation in the development and execution of the annual business plan, budget, and forecast and implements appropriate strategic operating plans. - Serves as a project officer in delivering on annual revenue and profitability goals with regular variance analysis and required adjustments. - Consults with business development leaders to ensure appropriate technical expertise and thought leaders are available to support proposal activities. - Collaborates effectively with leaders, teams, and associates across the firm to help drive success. The candidate will have a proven record of successful PS&E delivery for TxDOT and be able to contribute to the development and implementation of a business plan in coordination with RS&H local office and state leaders.
